IF I HAD MY OWN HOME, THIS IS WHAT I’D PUT INSIDE OF IT
there’s something so warm and cozy about an old pine chest. i imagine this chest from LeMont Vintage in a living room filled with special linens and blankets.
i’m not a frills girl; and i’m really not much of a pink girl either. BUT, i love the juxtaposition of a pink ruffle pillow with my masculine interiors style. this is good.
1. i am very drawn to folk art 2. for years, i’ve been collecting art to line my bathroom walls with; and this duck piece would fit perfectly.
i struggle with coffee tables. they’re never THAT cool, and too often they’re blockish and bulky. this one is an interesting shape, lower to the ground and is just gorgeous. the green tinge is breathtaking.
beautiful little things. and candles all the time.
You can never have enough good lighting. And I have an unexplainable obsession with small lamps. This brown and blue striped lamp would look perfect in a half bathroom or on a bookshelf in a hallway.
paper lanterns in american design are in again; and i am not unique. i love the way a paper lantern adds visual interest and levity in a home. this lily of the valley pendant is a more compelling take on the trend.
Redland Cotton makes the most DELICIOUS linens, and they’re products are made right here in alabama! :’) These ticking stripe pillow cases would look SO good with the mid century headboard we’ve basically inherited.
ever since i bought my good quality, but basic dresser from haverty’s back in 2017, i’ve wanted to replace the drawer pulls. these vintage wooden knobs are classic, subtle, but still interesting.
making seemingly insignificant items, special.
i’m in LOVE with this small mid-century wall system. these types of pieces can really anchor a space in a non-invasive way, which i think is amazing.
facebook marketplace is my security blanket. and as a young person on a budget, it has been crucial in my being able to acquire quality pieces of furniture, despite my small budget. these barrel chairs would be perfect in a sitting room or even in front of a window in a kitchen.
it’s a good blue throw pillow with good piping. what else can i say.
ya girl is ballin’ on a budget; and ikea has rarely steered me wrong. when we move into our next home, i’d love a bigger comfy chair that’s got a traditional shape to balance out some of the harsher edges of our mid-century pieces.
i think wall sconces on either side of a bed is so luxurious feeling. these sconces are basically perfect. the unlaquered brass, the semi-traditional shade but with a twist. these will be mine.
